| Douglasss Elementary School takes pride in the rich history it possesses. Established in approximately 1895, Frederick Douglass School was an all black school due to the period of segragation that was so prevalent in this nation. This school housed all grade levels from Kindergarten through the 12th Grade. Presently Douglass is an elementary school housing grades Pre-kinder through 5th grade. Our present principal is Mr. James Vannosdale who comes to us this year with many years of administrative experience and love for the faculty, staff and the students. There are many wonderful things going on at Douglass Elementary School. You are welcome to come on by and pay us a visit, we would love to have you. |
